私たちは私たちの信仰の唯一の基盤は、霊感を受けた神の言葉としての聖書であると断言します。

We affirm the Holy Bible as the Inspired Word of God and as the only basis for our beliefs.

 

1.神: God

 神は全地の創造主であり支配者である事を信じます。神は永遠に存在し、父、子、聖霊の３つの完全に独立した性格を持つ一人の神である事を信じます。 (創世記 1:1,26,27; 3:22, 詩篇 90:2, マタイ 28:19, 1ペテロ 1:2, 2コリント 13:14).

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He eternally exists in three personalities: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. (Genesis 1:1,26,27; 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1Peter 1:2, 2Corinthians 13:14).

 

2. イエス・キリスト: Jesus Christ

イエス・キリストは神の子であり、父なる神と同格であると信じます。イエス・キリストは罪のない人間として生き、すべての人々の罪のため、完全な生け贄として、十字架にかかりご自分の体を捧げたことを信じます。イエス・キリストはその死から3日の後によみがえり、罪と死に打ち勝つことを示しました。イエス・キリストは天に昇り、王の王、主の主としてこの世を治めるため、いつの日か再び戻って来る事を信じます。 (マタイ 1:22, 23; イザヤ 9:6; ヨハネ 1:1-5,14; 10:30, ヘブル 4:14, 15; 1 コリント 15:3, 4, 使徒 1:9-11, 1 テモテ 6:14,15, テトス 2:13)

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. (Matthew 1:22, 23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5,14; 10:30, Hebrews 4:14, 15; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Timothy 6:14,15, Titus 2:13)

 

3. 聖霊: The Holy Spirit

. 聖霊は父なる神、子なる神と同格である事を信じます。聖霊はこの世に存在し、人間にイエス・キリストの必要性を気づかせる様に働かれる事を信じます。聖霊は救われた瞬間からすべてのクリスチャンの中に生きて住まわれると信じます。聖霊はクリスチャンに生きる力と霊的真実の理解、そして正しい事への導きを与えて下さると信じます。聖霊はその信じるすべての人に救われた時に霊的賜物を与えて下さると信じます。クリスチャンとして、私たちは聖霊の導きのもとで生きる道を探します。 (2 コリント 3:17, ヨハネ 16:7-13, 使徒 1:8, 1 コリント2:12, 3:16 エペソ 1:13, ガラテヤ 5:25, エペソ 5:18)

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides Christians with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He equips believers with spiritual gifts.  As Christians, we seek to live under His guidance daily. (2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16 Ephesians 1:13, Galatians 5:25, Ephesians 5:18).

 

4. 聖書: The Holy Bible

 聖書は私たちへの神の言葉であり、聖霊の超自然的な導きのもと人によって書かれた事を信じます。聖書はクリスチャンの信仰と生き方のための最高の真実の源であると信じます。聖書は神の霊感によって書かれたので、誤りはないと信じます。(2 テモテ 3:16, 2 ペテロ 1:20, 21, 2 テモテ 1:13 詩篇 119:105,160, 12:6, 箴言 30:5)

The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any compromise or error. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20, 21, 2 Timothy 1:13 Psalm 119:105,160, 12:6, Proverbs 30:5).

5. 人間: Human Beings

人間は神の霊的な姿に似たものとして作られ、その性質の中に神の性質を持つと信じます。人間は神が作った最高の被造物であると信じます。すべての人は素晴らしい良い資質を持っているが、私たちは全員罪と呼ばれる、神への不従順の態度によって結びあわされていると信じます。この態度が人間を神から引き離し、人生における多くの問題の原因となっていると信じます。 (創世記 1:27, 詩篇8:3-6, イザヤ 53:6a, ローマ 3:23, イザヤ 59:1, 2).

People are made in the image of God. People are supreme objects of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.” This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in life. (Genesis 1:27, Psalm 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6a, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1, 2).

 

6. 救い: Salvation

救いは神様から私たちへの無償の贈り物だが、私たちが受け取らなければ意味を持たず、自己改善や良い働きによって私たちの罪を消す事は決して出来ないと信じます。神様が赦しのために与えて下さったイエス・キリストをただ信頼して行く事で誰でも罪の罰から救われると信じます。Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty.  私たちが自己中心の生活からイエス・キリストを信仰する生活に変る時、私たちは救われると信じます。信仰によりイエス・キリストを受け入れた時から、永遠の命につながる事が出来ると信じます。 (ローマ 6:23, エペソ 2:8,9, ヨハネ 14:6, 1:12, テトス 3:5, ガラテヤ 3:26, ローマ 5:1)When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment an individual receives Jesus Christ into one’s life by faith. (Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8,9, John 14:6, 1:12, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1).

7. 永遠の保証: Eternal Security

神はイエス・キリストを通して神様が永遠の命を与えて下さると言う真実をもって、イエスキリストを信じるものには永遠の救いの保証がある事を信じます。本当に救われたのなら、神の救いを失う事はないと信じます。救いは恵みと神の力によって起こるものであり、クリスチャンの自己努力によるのではないと信じます。この恵みと永続的な神の力が私たちに永遠の保証を与えてくれると信じます。 (ヨハネ 10:28, 29, 2 テモテ 1:12, ヘブル 7:25, 10:10, 14, 1 ペテロ 1:3-5)

Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved, you cannot lose your salvation. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of Christians. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security. (John 10:28, 29, 2 Timothy 1:12, Hebrews 7:25, 10:10, 14, 1 Peter 1:3-5).

8. Blessing：祝福

 からだは一つ御霊は一つ、主は一つ、信仰は一つ、バプテスマは一つ、そして、すべてのものの父なる神は一つである事を信じます。(エペソ 4:6)There is one Body and one Spirit; there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all. (Ephesians 4:6)
